I believe that the megalomaniac Zarqawi has overplayed his hand. He has been calling upon his forces to mount a massive attack all over the country. I suspect that he thinks that he is on the verge of taking over Iraq and needs but to maintain his attack for a couple of weeks. He and his followers are going to be disabused of their error as they face the hell of USA's accurate and devastating firepower that can be applied to them when then fight openly.

The survivors will melt away and regroup, but he will lose 90% of his organization if he continues confrontation instead of much safer hit-and-run tactics.
