The Democrats are pushing hard for an all-powerful centralized government with one party in permanent charge of it. Republicans are something to be crushed and destroyed, unless they effectively cease to exist by cooperating with whatever Democrats propose.
You put a name to that if you don't like all the other names already in the dictionary.
