Note that if you subtracted the entire military budget, scrapped all the programs, dumped the personnel and troops, shut down overseas operations, fired the civilian employees, and cancelled all the contracts, the budget for 2013 would still be over $200 billion in the hole.
The 2013 deficit (at last prediction) will be slightly smaller than the size of that pie piece for Medicare & Health on that chart.
