Many other silly opinion pieces have been posted as well. Spacedaily is like Marsnews.com. A good place to go to get a cornucopia of space related news, but beware of the source. The sources are not subject to anything remotely resembling peer review through those sites. If it's a source or author you have never heard of be very skeptical. I once criticized Spacedaily's BD oped on the altacama results blowing Levin's claims out of the water for being highly biased and got a very rude reply that didn't address the technical innaccuracies I mentioned at all. John Carter McKnight frequently posts opeds that sound like they were written under the influence of drugs, alcohol or maybe just the whiney meanderings of a liberal arts major.
