Before Cassini
Keck provided the best Titan observations- our expert on Titan gave a fascinating talk about 6 months ago- they had observed Titan Occulting a star and had been able to deduce a lot about the atmospere of Titan from that observation.
They even had a short movie of the occultation... as Titan passed in front of the star, the star formed multiple images of itself due to refraction thru the atmosphere- it was amazing to see
I am praying in an agnostic way that the titan probe works ok....
