I honestly honor and respect the troops- I just think no aspect of war should make a person feel good. The vast majority of our troops are damn fine people that want to do good. But I just think the evil of war NEEDS to be looked at - we as a people have started this war, and the least we can do is look at its uglier consequences.
Honoring our troops is the right thing to do... Ignoring the suffering and dead is the wrong thing to do- but all too human.
