The famous first US EVA pictures seem to still be an icon of space exploration!
I remember them long before I really became interested in space and especially long before realizing who Ed White really was (for millions he must have been that white knight with the unknown face); and those pictures still regularly are shown on billboards.
However, there never have been (to my knowledge) pictures published taken from the camera carried by the spacewalking Gemini astronauts (perhaps one from Aldrin).
The great Gemini 4 EVA pictures were no real help to later spacewalkers when it became important to learn how to work in space.
According to Dave Scott, before Leonov's spacewalk, the Gemini 4 mission only involved opening White's hatch and let him look outside without really leaving the capsule. After march 18th and until his flight early june, White secretly trained to really go outside and move away from the capsule and do it much longer than Leonov. But he didn't do it in a swimming pool.
There were a lot of last minute decisions at the time!
