re: All of Asia will grow significantly.

Destroying Al Queda will help secure the region, and if the India Pakestan problem can be made more peaceful, don't leave the sub-continent out of the economic equation either. There is plenty of room for economic growth so long as trade between nations is not hampered.

Of course, once we are all trading freely and at our maximum ability to consume each other's goods and services, then the velocity of expansion will begin to slow...(Unless we find an alien culture in space that wants to develop a trading relationship)...Then trade will begin to decline as each country's natural resources are used up and there is nothing left to trade. (Not in our lifetimes, our children's lifetimes, or even our grand children's lifetimes, but eventually...)

but yes...there will be ups and downs, and some will be global-economic in scale.
