Man disqualified for Darwin award
this less than 4 cylinder model tried to enhance the performance of his lava lamp by placing it on a stove. As all but the dimest bulb might expect, pressure built up really high and the lamp exploded sending a glass shard into his aorta. End of story.
Unfortunately, this complete loser living with his parents did manage to father a 15 month old daughter thus disqualifying him from the 2004 Darwin Award.
