Current Events » in reply to Full United Nations report on a "More Secure World"

I like my proposal better.

Items like this are horriffic ideas:

82. The Security Council, acting under Article 29 of the Charter of the United Nations and after consultation with the Economic and Social Council, should establish a Peacebuilding Commission. (263)
83. The core functions of the Peacebuilding Commission should be to identify countries that are under stress and risk sliding towards State collapse; to organize, in partnership with the national Government, proactive assistance in preventing that process from developing furt her; to assist in the planning for transitions between conflict and post-conflict peacebuilding; and in particular to marshal and sustain the
efforts of the international community in post-conflict peacebuilding over whatever period may be necessary. (264)

So lets apply this aweful idea to a current senario...

If North Korea is near colapse because of the horrific leadership imposed on it by a corrupt communist dictatorship, then the UN will organize proactive assistance that will prop-up the corrupt communist dictatorship so that it can continue to pillage the people of North Korea who are defenseless against it.

Another "improvement" brought to you by the UN.
