Fine for a reporter to test the water by asking a question that has an obvious non-answer. Also fine for Bush to treat it with distain.

Press conferences are usually filled with stupid questions and some think that the appropriate reaction is to answer in a reserved and PC manner. I like the fact that a final term President without a potential VP candidate is free to treat questions with the respect he feels they deserve.

May he handle all his duties in the same way.
