I was really wondering how the "computer picks" tickets were generated.
In visual basic, there is a random number generator you can use. Problem is, you get the same sequence of numbers every time you run the program. Luckily, there's another function you can use to make them more randomized.
This site has more info about incorporating environmental occurrences for starting the baseline of an algorithm (i think).
I think it's facinating. (what's wrong with me...must, fight, inner geak...)
