Raoul, I was at the South Bay Astronomical Society meeting last night where a lecture was given on spectroscopy for armature astronomers. One of the things he pointed out was that the accuracy spectroscopy is at the point where they can detect as little as a 10 fps wobble in a star, and they are working to get it down to 2 fps.
