And perhaps, today, we might have the political will and international support to keep Iran from producing nuclear weapons - something Saddam Hussein wan't even close to producing.

Tell me the exact thing that would accomplish this, the thing that would be in place right now if we had not invaded Iraq. "International support?" The anti-war people have drained that phrase of any ratioinal meaning. Which nations are now not supporting the U.N. process in Iran, that would be if we weren't in Iraq? Name one.

"Political will?" What the hell does that mean?

Please describe for me the one lacking element now preventing the United Nations from keeping Iran from building atomic bombs, the element that would be there if only that rotten Bush hadn't flown off the handle and deposed Saddam.

I wish I had a dollar for every baseless, vague, Kerry-like statement like this that I've had to listen to. You have no real alternatives other than letting Saddam and other tyrants have free rein, and you never did.

And you want the sanctions back? No fly zones and terror camps in Northern Iraq? People suffering for lack of food and medicine? Oil money pumped to the U.N., France and others? For decades?
