Any boob would have been able to predict that the insurgents were going to crank it up between now and the end of January.
Any boob could also have predicted that the Sunnis would do damn near anything to keep elections from taking place. Hell, they used to run the joint and be able to kill Shiites and Kurds by the thousands with impunity. Who wants to lose that?
What's your point? That we should give up now, let the guys killing innocent Iraqi contractors take over the place? That somehow the war is a failure due simply to the fact that fighting is taking place? That if the fighting increases, that must mean we're about to lose? That we should put off elections due to violence, and through some insane logic that somehow this victory for the insurgents will make the violence decrease?
We've established that you can criticize. You got anything constructive to add anywhere? If you don't want these bastards to win, why are you playing their propaganda game?
As I have said before, thank God our defense hasn't been run by people like you over the past sixty years.
