Geez...even if Machholz reaches 4 mag I will still will need the aide of optics for viewing.
Interesting that Starry Night doesn't have Machholz in the program. All I could locate was Machholz 141P and I did the update of astroid/comet link.
Any chance you came across it on Starry Night?
Will try with the binoculars tonight.
