Does forgetting Doppler shift count as "switch backwards"...?

Glad they found a fix, but man that would have sucked had they not.

To be fair, it wasn't the most obvious doppler -- the shift in the carrier frequency isn't the issue, but the shift in the data stream bit rate, if I understood that correctly
