Ideology vs security
The attacks on Rummy are simply pure ideologically driven politics from the left. If people seriously cared about security and not just scoring points against Bush for politics' sake, they'd focus on at Minetta's PC airport inspection rules, immigration control and how we run the ludicrous air marshall programs.
Meanwhile the Bush admin lets political pandering emasculate border control, etc.
