...at least they're putting it up for a public vote. I wonder how the proposal will fare at the polls.
Count me skeptical about the value of these kinds of sweeping gun control laws. I think its perfectly appropriate to regulate automatic and semi-automatic weapons. I don't have a problem with requiring trigger locks and mandating gun safety training for gun owners. But gun ownership is as American as apple pie and cotton candy.
