I infer that the topic originally under discussion is the "New" Testament. Depending on which kind of Christian you listen to, that collection of books either augments or supercedes the "Old". Regardless, it allegedly contains the teachings of the man (or avatar of God, or something in-between, take your pick) whose followers founded Christianity after his death and/or resurrection.

The question has yet to be answered: Do they practice, or do they merely preach?
