Whoa...solar panel photos had me going for a minute...

Today's microscope shots from "Opportunity" showed an examination of the solar panel. I looked at this shot, and said hey, that's the same shot I saw a week or so ago, but without the glob on the wire. Big question: was the earlier shot from the same rover, or from Spirit? Sure looked the same, including the kinked cable.

Nope. It was a different Rover. Spirit has the glob, Opportunity does not. If the earlier shot had been from the same rover? Wow. On the other hand, I have no idea why Spirit has a glob there and Opportunity does not.
