Coon = Racoon
When people talk about a coon hunt, they're talking about hunting racoons.
I can understand the confusion given the unfortunate racial connotations of the word coon. Still, they're talking about racoons.
As for the Krampus, it sounds pretty barbaric. One can hope that women will start pepper spraying those masked idiots, at least long enough to kick them repeatedly in the balls, perhaps preventing future generations of Krampus molestors. Maybe they wouldn't thing attacking women was so much fun if the women started fighting back, the dirtier, the better.
