Strekalov
Cosmonaut Gennadi Strekalov passed away, today.
He was with Vladimir Titov aboard a Soyuz capsule that was ejected away from the launch pad because of the rocket being engulfed by flames, just 90 seconds before the normal liftoff, thanks to a launch escape system.
He was also aboard Mir with Norman Thagard.
Thagard said of him he was one of the nicest persons he knew.
