From Sam Reed, Washington State Secretary of State:
"Reed, a Republican, said the election was fair. He said there were serious errors during the initial count and two recounts, but that the system worked well and those problems were fixed. 'I do not feel that this is a botched election,' he said, 'Anytime something is this close and you put the magnifying glass on the election, you are going to see some of the warts in the system and some of the glitches.'"
Sam is one of the most honorable individuals I know. Throughout all of the threats and the rhetoric, he has maintained his calm and his integrity. DEmocrats and Republicans throughout the State should be proud he is our Secretary of State.
Let Mr. Rossi pursue his accusations in the courts. But we must remember, he will be suing the people of the State of Washington, not the Democratic Party. Talk about a sore loser.
