Between 23:30 and 0:30 tonight
The sky got clear, I rushed to the garden...
The neighbours got excited...
The moon was there !
BUT from the garden, this was much more interesting!!
Comet Machholz was visible (better than M31) through binoculars; I was staring at the comet at 0:00!
It is the fuzzy dot to the left of the appartment (4 cm below the upper corner and 4 cm to its left)
Orion and the Pleiades and Aldebaran are also there. 20 seconds exposure.
Never thought I'd see a comet on new year's eve!
