who suggests caution with regard to Mars Sample Return as well as putting people on the surface of Mars due to possible contamination? Isn't he the one who says we should assume there is life on Mars, rather than assume there is not?
Isn't he the one who is going against the weight of an entire field of Mars consensus?
If he weren't a respected scientist, wouldn't Kargel be considered a crank?
