Unlikely
Why would anyone use a laser to perform ranging on airliners as they come in for landing? Airliners follow standard approach paths that are easily available. I can buy all of the approach plates for Colorado and New Mexico for $4 at the local pilot shop. You can get subscriptions for the entire country for less than $600 a year, and even cheaper in electronic format.
As an example, here are all of the instrument approaches for Colorado Springs. It's possible the link won't work for you. I'm a member of AOPA and the link is from their members' section. Still, anyone can join AOPA for about $30 a year and get access to all US intrument approach plates in PDF format.
