The movie 'The Core' was an amazing piece of work.... they must have consulted hundreds of scientific experts in many fields and asked them 'how can we get every bit of scientific fact in our plot totally wrong?'

I saw it on a flight between hawaii and the mainland- it was absolute and utter garbage- even the acting sucked, I especially liked the lasers that could magically drill through solid rock- not just vaporize rock, which would create an explosion beyond imagining, but make rock magically 'disappear'....

The movie was meant to appeal to those as ignorant and gullible as Lindy... Thank god there weren't enough people that stupid to make the movie a hit....
