Logic is fun

J-- It is true that if you limit your thinking to the level of simple arithmetic then 1+1 will equal 2, but if you consider these "ones" as inputs into a "logic" circuit such as a "and" circuit, then one plus the other input will equal only one output.
OK now consider all the "logic" involved in a situation where we have two individuals, lets designate them as 1a and 1b. Now lets consider that there is a building and inside the building there is person that controls 5 colored lights that are attached to the outside of the building, the colors are red, orange, yellow, green, and blue. Now lets imagine further that an agreement has been made with the light controller and the person who is far away from the building and can see the lights but not the individuals (1a or 1b), that the controller will turn on one of the colored lights depending on the "logic" of the 1a or 1b individuals position. If the building does not contain 1a or 1b then the controller will turn on the red light and the observer will mark no.1 on his observation sheet. If individual 1a enters the building alone then the controller (C) will turn on the orange light and the observer (O) will mark down number 2 on his sheet, if on the other hand 1b enters the building alone then (C) will turn the yellow light on and (O) will mark down no.3, if on the other hand 1a enters and 1b follows behind, then (C) will turn on the green light and (O) will mark down no.4, if 1b enters and 1a follows behind then (C) will turn the blue light on and (O) will mark down number 5.
Under this "logic" system, the condition of two inputs can represent five different output conditions.
The point I'm trying to make is that a person SHOULD NOT LIMIT their observation of their surroundings to that of numeric symbols, LOGIC spans a far greater field than just mathematics.
