Ah the UN. When not closing the airports for arriving UN dignitaries, preventing relief flights to Tsunami victims in Indonesia, and when not filling out reams of paperwork in SE Asian luxury hotels kvetching over 'plans' for relief, the UN yet again enables serial mass rape and sexual exploitation of children.

Let's look at the record of accomplishments...
UN impotence in Kosovo requiring 'unilateral' US military intervention
Faux Arab-Israeli 'peace accords' culminating in the Intifada
Food for Oil corruption of 10s of billion$, and worse yet the misery of those supposedly aided
Bloviated Iraq resolutions with no ACTION to back them up as far more that the # of Tsunami victims were tortured and murdered
Kyoto accords, pseudoscience combined with politics, a deadly mixture
Rwanda in the 90s
Sudan today
Total ineptitude in the face of urgently needed action for Tsunami victims

Tell me, post Cold War, why do we in the US fund this house of fools?
