Live a little. Read a bit. You'll realize that the DDT position advocate is NOT a neocon. In fact, most scientists* today agree that DDT is NOT a major hazard for humans. It's inertia and the enviro-extremists that prevent rectifying this mistake.

* Yes, I know that arguement by authority is not scientific
