Arafat II

If Abbas comes across as anything other than an Arafat II, he'll be murdered by his own people (that's likely to happen anyway). Abbas will have to slowly convince (trick?) his own people into believing that they can coexist with the Israelis. Arafat's stupid tactic of trying to convince the Israelis to commit mass suicide never had a chance of working. Maybe Abbas has intelligence enough to see this.
