Agreed. NO one could say this was a legitimate election.
There is no combination of events which would lead ANYONE to say this was a legitimate election.
NOT when the candidates are vetted by an occupying military power, etc.
No more than the "elections" in Hungary, Czechoslavakia, et al, after WWII were "elections".
Unless the definition of "election" has changed.
