Key quotes:

"Howard Dean's presidential campaign hired two Internet political "bloggers" as consultants so that they would say positive things about the former governor's campaign in their online journals, according to a former high-profile Dean aide..... The Dean campaign's adroit use of the Internet helped make its long-shot effort credible..... The partisan Democratic political bloggers who were hired by the Dean campaign were Jerome Armstrong, who publishes the blog MyDD, and Markos Zuniga, who publishes DailyKos. DailyKos is the ninth most linked blog on the Internet."

I would be very bummed if it was revealed that Wretchard was an employee of George W. Bush. Most of us know the MSM is corrupt as hell and an untrustworthy information source. I now only trust the Internet as my primary news source. The beauty of the Internet is one can get information from many different blogs and websites. I use Google to cross check information and look up reference data connected with a news story. If I see a news report that I suspect is media spin, I can Google the author's name and see what he published in the past. That simple trick usually reveals if the author produces mostly spin/propaganda or is a partisan moonbat. However this new information about a major political candidate hiring blogs to shill for him is disturbing. It's only a question of time before someone pays Google to filter web searches supporting a particular political line with opposing information going down the "memory hole". Then the show is over. We would be back to trusting CBS as our single news source with the liberals leading us to slaughter.
