One of you HZ posters has mentioned that you used to work onboard an atomic-powered submarine.
Well?.....
Considering that 50 years ago today, near Groton, Connecticut, the USS Nautilus became the first mode of transportation on this planet to run off of nuclear power, I would think you would toast the anniversary of that historic event.
Fifty years ago, they were seriously considering nuclear-power not only
for subs, ships and spacecraft; but for aircraft and train locomotives as well.
