If I recall correctly, you mentioned that you're Canadian. That may explain why you think Kennedy makes sense. In most of America outside of the Northeast corridor, Kennedy is a laughingstock. He does serve one useful purpose besides comic relief, though. When he speaks, he helps rally Republicans to make sure he never has majority power again.
