Your pointing out that the MSNBC link is not "in-depth" supports my assertion. So thanks, I guess.

My definition of in-depth has to do with the amount of resources devoted to putting together a story, how much new information is provided, how reliable is the info, how many words are devoted to telling it. In my opinion, good places for in-depth coverage would be the weekly news magazines, papers, ocassionally TV (if you can catch a Nightline or something on the topic you are looking for).
