Donald posts casualties, I should respond to each one "Yep. That's right. I confirm that people are getting killed in Iraq."

Or do I need to affirm Bowser's endless links to MSNBC (Al Jazeera West)?

Have I accused either person of making up these news stories?

Look, I'm posting information, same as everyone else. The fact that my posts and lists of links like Chrenkoff's are probably the only place you ever see most of these positive stories should tell you something right there.

The media is going to go into full panic mode during the Iraq elections. Every polling place that's bombed will get front-page coverage and endless play on the evening news. The hundreds of polling places in peaceful areas where nothing bad happens will be utterly ignored.

Here, you might see the other side, because I know where to look, and I post it here. Damn sure you aren't going to see it from the New York Times.

A lot of people working in the news field do not want this war won, any more than they wanted Vietnam won, and for the same reasons. This is unpleasant, but factual.
