As Mae West once observed, "Goodness had nothing to do with it."
Neither did those of us who did not support the President's re-election, are still suspicious of his stated motives and downright appalled by some of his objectives. We are nearly half the country. Mr. Bush has already told us that we don't count.
Unfortunately, I still feel responsible.
