I thought it was common knowledge that thats what you get when you have charged particles slamming through a CCD detector
The front of charged particles hit the CCD and OF COURSE its going to create spots and streaks...
It would seem EVERYTHING E.P. sees can only be interpreted in his mind as asteroids or comets or flotsam destined to hit the Earth
