TIVO
Not to be trite but it has changed the way I watch TV and saves lots of time. I never watch anything until it is recorded on TIVO.
You immediately save 30% timewise by ff thru commercials.
Anything you care to watch is never interrupted by the telephone or other distraction.
It is incredibly user friendly.
