I don't always follow Tom's links. Too long, dreary, repetitive in most cases.

In this case I read one about blogs, assumed the guy got it for blogging.

HOWEVER, reading them all, the lieutenant got it for conduct under fire and it was apparently more than deserved.

My mistake. I should not have impugned his decoration.
