re: "Ifs"
I'm very much annoyed by speculations like: "what if the US didn't invade Iraq?" As a way to demonstrate that this invasion had to be done.
Or like: "what would the UN have done instead?" As a way to demonstrate that nobody could have done better than the US.
Speculations...
With enough "ifs", we could put Paris in a bottle.
Avec des "si", on peut mettre Paris en bouteille.
