Knowing that the only thing keeping their hides from being dragged through the streets is the blood and guts of a lot of brave American soldiers and the money of a foolish electorate,
you can damned well bet they won't ask the US to leave.
In fact, they'll be begging the US to stay.
And if the US leaves, they'll leave with the US.
But it does sound good, doesn't it? "We'll only stay if we're welcome!!"
(Doesn't the body count say something about "welcome"?)
