Looser: Those degrading the elections as a farce.

Looser: Those degrading the decision to go ahead and hold elections.

Looser: The terrorist's credibility. Their big threats showed that their mouths are far bigger than their cpabilities and that most Iraqis do not share their animosity towards democracy.

Loosers: Those that act like the insurgents are freedom fighters for their country.

Winners: The Iraqi people.

Winner: Bush for decision to hold the elections now.

Possible winner: Bush admin overall Iraq policy, time will tell. Parts will no doubt be judged failures, but the overall policy may be judged a winner. Abhu Graib will be a dark blot forever however.
