I have predicted that one real sign that the war would be going well is that Bush would be written out of it, like Reagan was for the Cold War victory.
Juan Cole, well-known liberal blogger, claims that Bush never really wanted real elections in the first place, and it's only due to the great Sistani and the United Nations that Iraq has enjoyed this day. Wow. Who knew?
