There are still many who link biblical claims to their current political and land aspirations. Debka seems to speak for those people.
The olnly thing that has kept Israel from being forced to a peaceful settlement with the Pals has been the insistance of the Pals on terror. The ending of Iraq as a terror state increases the chances of a Ghandi-eque leadership emerging in Palestine. That is bad news for the Debka community.
