The Iranians are obviously engaged in diplomatic subterfuge with the Europeans. The Europeans have signaled that they understand the Iranians are continuing with their nuclear weapons program. It's not clear the Europeans are prepared to do anything other than negotiate until the Iranians have achieved their objective (the Iranians seem to understand this). The Americans indicate they are not going to take direct military action against the Iranians (got our hands full in Iraq). The Israelis are doing a bit of sabre rattling but I doubt they have the capability of stopping the Iranian's nuclear program. I guess everyone is hoping the Iranian people will have their revolution against the mullahs before they go nuclear. Fat chance. I suspect Plan B is to let the Iranians nuke Haifa or Tel Aviv and then exterminate the Iranians down to the last woman and child (make an example out of them). Seems like a very stupid plan. I find it hard to believe that we're allowing this disaster to happen.
