The type of constitution and the philosophical direction it presents will determine the future and fate of Iraq, not ink-stained fingers.
If there is no provision for proportional representation, Iraq will devolve into a "tyranny of the masses" such as Madison warned about. In Iraq it will mean a theocracy, probable civil war, and eventual Balkanization.
Not leaving Sunniis a seat at the table will guarantee chaos. The Persian people would possibly evolve into a more pluarlistic society if the Bush administration wouldn't be so hell-bent into polarizing them to be anti-US. The young people in Iran should be our salvation in the search for peace in that country.
