I must say, you have a point.
Arafat opposed any serious peace deal with Israel from the get-go. He torpedoed every effort made by Israel, the USA, the EU or anybody else to bring the problem to an acceptable conclusion. With Arafat dead, things just MIGHT be different now. I will wait and see. So far, I don't see any improvement.
